OVERVIEW – SDF 2011

The third edition of the Sustainable Development Forum 2011 will take place on September 26, from 8:45 am to 6 pm, at the Harvard Club in New York City. Under the theme "Brazil: The New Global Green Economy" the conference concentrates on the importance of the green economy within the context of sustainable development for business, politics, society and the environment in Brazil and in the world.

Brazil, with its dynamic growth and great economic power, has been developing green solutions for its economy for a few years now, such as the use of biofuels and of ecofriendly textiles. In order to share these experiences and stimulate the discussion of such a relevant theme in the international scene, Fórum das Américas and the United Nations Association - Brazil propose the conference “Brazil: the New Global Green Economy”, which will count on the presence of businessmen, politicians and scholars who have been successful in their green solutions.
